Embark on the Mardi Himal Trek, a 5-day journey through Nepal’s Annapurna region, plus 5 days of cultural immersion in Pokhara and Kathmandu. The Mardi Himal Trek is MODERATELY DIFFICULY staying at low altitude with a maximum elevation of 3660m at High Camp and 4500m at Mardi Himal Base Camp. This is a great experience for hikers who want to take their hiking to the next level! To prepare for this adventure, engage in physical training like walking up steps or running along with some strength training at least four months before the trek begins. This will help build your stamina and ensure you're ready for the journey ahead. A training plan will be provided upon payment of the deposit and a detailed packing list will be provided upon payment of the balance due.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Day-to-day itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Kathmandu (1,320m / 4,330ft)
Arrive in Nepal’s vibrant capital. Airport pickup and hotel check-in included. Explore or relax before the trek begins.

Day 2: UNESCO Heritage Sites + Welcome Dinner

Guided tour of Kathmandu’s iconic landmarks, followed by a group welcome dinner.

Day 3: Fly to Pokhara (820m / 2,690ft)
Scenic flight to Pokhara. Explore lakeside views and local attractions.

Day 4: Drive to Kimche & Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m / 6,365ft)
Begin trekking into the Himalayas. Overnight in the picturesque village of Ghandruk.

Day 5: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2,170m / 7,120ft)
Forest trails and terraced hillside views lead to Chhomrong.

Day 6: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2,310m / 7,579ft)
Descent to river then climb through lush forest to Bamboo.

Day 7: Bamboo to Deurali (3,230m / 10,598ft)
Continue ascending past waterfalls into alpine landscapes.

Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,551ft) via MBC
A big trekking day with massive rewards — 360° mountain views at ABC. Overnight at Base Camp.

Day 9: Trek to Bamboo (2,300m / 7,546ft)
Descend back into rich forest surroundings.

Day 10: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,770m / 5,807ft)
Arrive at hot springs — a well-earned soak!

Day 11: Short Trek → Drive to Pokhara
Final morning walk followed by 4x4 return to Pokhara.

Day 12: Leisure Day in Pokhara
Optional activities or relaxation by Phewa Lake.

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu + Farewell Dinner
Celebrate your success with a final group dinner.

Day 14: Departure Day
Airport transfer included. Depart Nepal with unforgettable memories!

FAQ's

Do I need previous trekking experience?
• Moderate fitness recommended. We hike 4–7 hours per day.

Will altitude be a problem?
• We ascend gradually with time to acclimatize. Guides monitor everyone closely.

Where do we sleep on the trek, is this like camping?
• Local Tea Houses with twin-share rooms, blankets, WiFi & hot showers included.

What is the food like?
• Fresh Nepali + international dishes (dal bhat, pasta, soups, curries, even pizza).

How do we charge devices?
• Charging is available in Tea Houses. Bring a power bank just in case.

Are bathrooms Western-style?
• A mix of Western and squat toilets. Bring toilet paper + hand sanitizer.

How heavy is my pack?
• You only carry your daypack (water/snacks/layers). Porters carry the rest.

What about tipping?
• Tipping for guide & porter is already included in your trip price!
